What skin tags and milia are, how cryotherapy removal works, what to expect afterward, and when to see your physician first.
Skin tags are small, soft, benign growths; milia are tiny keratin-filled bumps just under the skin’s surface. Both are harmless but can be cosmetically bothersome.
We remove them with cryotherapy — a precise application of controlled cold that treats the lesion, which then darkens, scabs and falls away naturally over the following days. It is quick and needs no anaesthetic, though you will feel a brief sting.
At our Midtown clinic, a single lesion is $75, 2–5 lesions $150, and 6–10 lesions $250; a $50 consultation is credited toward your first treatment. If a spot is pigmented, has changed recently, or you are unsure what it is, we will ask you to book a consultation — and where appropriate see your physician — first.
